A few words and a summary
We are all looking for something in this life. The higher state of consciousness, our mom, our sweet heart, some piece of mind, some excitement, God or maybe just to have fun. We don’t know exactly what are we looking for but we are searching anyway. Also, we do not know how or where to search. If we do find it, then we need to preserve it. But life is exciting, painful, fun and hard. Death is boring, relaxed, easy… All exclusive. What about ecstasy?
It's the story of many different characters who taste joy and pain. They are confused because life is playing strange games and their happiness is at best temporary. John, as a child, as a teenager and as an adult, is always abandoned. Betty was almost killed by an explosion but was saved by a miracle. Jill is disappointed from spiritual pursuits and charming men. Peter had a traumatic experience in the hospital. Is life hanging on a fine thread? We have survived by luck because the comet has missed Earth or can it all be a discreet divine provision?
The approach
Over the last four months I've been researching, writing and editing the play, I have found out that the issue of ecstasy is inexhaustible. I could write many more stories of heroes trying to find explanations of existence and a way out of existential pain. This research also contains the age-old conflict, between Idealism and Materialism. The heroes of the play have, déjà vu, near death experiences, and a heroine suffers the most common metaphysical experience we do not have a name for. She was saved by a miracle. My approach is not scientific. It is rather comical and gives viewers the opportunity to reflect while they are been entertained.

> Have you ever felt like you’re living in a replay and when you speak, actually a tape recorder is playing your voice?
> Life is exciting, painful, fun and hard. Death is boring, relaxed, easy… All exclusive.
> Have you ever felt like a ghost?
> Security is an illusion.
> Ecstasy?
> People are one organic and etheric material that is playing all the parts, is wearing masks and it plays hide and seek with it self. Easy to say. Hard to know. Confusing for the ego.
> We were born by luck, we live by luck and we will die, by luck. Life, death, more like accidents. My father was late too so.. Lucky you, here I am!
> I think we should call a priest. Do we have a priest in the house? You sir. Yes. You. Please come. A man is dyeing. He might need something. A prayer. A last shaper maybe? Come on.

Όλοι κάτι ψάχνουμε σε αυτή τη ζωή. Την ανώτερη συνειδητότητα, την μαμά μας, την γλυκιά καρδιά μας, λίγη ηρεμία, λίγο ενθουσιασμό, τον Θεό ή απλώς να περνάμε καλά. Δεν ξέρουμε τι ακριβώς ψάχνουμε αλλά ούτωσι άλλως, ψάχνουμε. Επιπλέον δεν γνωρίζουμε που ακριβώς να ψάξουμε, ούτε πως. Αν το βρούμε, μετά πρέπει να δούμε πως θα το διατηρήσουμε. Γιατί η ζωή είναι συναρπαστική, περιπετειώδης, επίπονη, διασκεδαστική και δύσκολη. Αλλά ο θάνατος είναι βαρετός, χαλαρωτικός, εύκολος, ολ εξκούσιβ. Άραγε που είναι η έκσταση;
Είναι η ιστορία πολλών διαφορετικών χαρακτήρων που γεύονται χαρά και πόνο. Είναι μπερδεμένοι γιατί η ζωή τους παίζει περίεργα παιχνίδια και η ευτυχία τους είναι στην καλύτερη περίπτωση προσωρινή. Ο Γιάννης, σαν παιδί, σαν έφηβος και σαν ενήλικας

Η σιγή ασυρμάτου δεν ήταν χωρίς λόγο. Ναι, με απασχολούν τα πολιτικά, τα διεθνή αλλά με απασχολεί και η δημιουργία ακόμα περισσότερο. Τους τελευταίους μήνες έγραψα ένα θεατρικό έργο με τίτλο “Που είναι η έκσταση;” έκανα μερικές ωραίες βόλτες και ακόμα προσπαθώ να συνέλθω από τα καλοκαίρια. Τα δύο προηγούμενα. Από την άλλη μεριά, γιατί να συνέλθω; Είναι σαν να παρακαλάς να σου περάσει ο έρωτας. Θέλεις; Δεν θέλεις; Αλλά το ζήτημα δεν είναι αυτό, αλλά αν αντέχεις; Αντοχή, επιμονή και ζήλος είναι τα χαρακτηριστικά του ανθρώπινου γένους! Πως θα προχωρήσουμε σαν κοινωνία αν δεν επιλύσουμε το πρόβλημα της πείνας, τους πολέμους, την αμορφωσιά και τι θα κάνουμε επιτέλους με τους τρικατάρτους βαρβάρους.
